Amanda first discovered her love for Pilates through dance. After receiving a BFA in Dance at George Mason University, she moved to New York City and completed her certification with Balanced Body. While struggling with a back injury a few years into her dance career, she witnessed the true healing powers of Pilates, and never looked back.
She currently teaches live mat pilates classes on Zoom, and recently launched her own app with hundreds of on-demand classes. With over 12 years of teaching experience, she has worked with athletes, clients needing injury rehabilitation, pre- and post-natal women, and many more.
Because of her dance background, Amanda has a strong focus on alignment and posture, but also encourages her clients to find the joy in movement. She is a firm believer that Pilates will allow you to do the things you love, and still feel good doing them!
